Tuesday's Categories
Our Class broke our philosophical questions into categories and named them. Some of the categories are as follows; Questions about humans actions, Questions about Dreams, Questions about Existence, Personal questions, Societal questions, "Realistic" questions. ( which were referred to as borderline scientific questions), Faith questions, and Spiritual, ( as in questions about religion) and Spiritual ( as in nature and super nature or the supernatural). We were then given the traditional way of categorizing philosophical questions which included a whole lot of big words. Although some of the categories had different names we concluded that most of our categories fit into those categories in some way. Some of the categories were of their own such as "Logic". This is supposedly the tie between philosophy and science. This category questions arguments and whether they are valid or invalid. This could be an interesting category because there are so many arguments that in my opinion seem flawed or just plain stupid.
